Hi guys...Recently I begin to mount my new 4g15...Everything was excellent until i notice that there was coming out oil from the maniold...aS YOU HEARD, OIL OUT OF THE MANIFOLD....I was thinking that the valve retainers were worn out...I any of you have any idea of what this can be please tell me....

I'll take a poke at this one....

Assuming your valve stem seals are good...... your new head could have internal crack that allows pressure to ooze where it shouldn't be!?! :evil: doh
Is this only in one exhaust hole or all of them ? If oil is in all of them, then you probably have bad valve seals.

Anyone else have any ideas ?

Let us know what happened to it.

:o That's not good! Well, intake or exhaust manifold? I'd guess something's broken in the valvetrain, or the head is broken internally. Just as Tim already suggested.
If it's the valves, compression should be low, am I right? :-?
Edit: DOH! I'm wrong! :lol: :oops:

well, with that vague discription of where the oil was leaking from, it is very hard to say. Also, is it a brand new motor, or a junkyard motor. Was it lying on its side, did you over fill the oil, by 5qts? need more input. :P

actually the leak is from the exhaust manifold...and the head I bought it and send it to the machine shop...And they told me that it was in great shape

No problem...I would let you know

I don't want to take the head out again :cry:
