Hello,

Should probably be in newbies' :oops: but need an answer ASAP;

I'm going to buy an a/c which was taken from 4G15 C50, in order to mount it to a non-ac car with 4G37 (becoming with 4G32BT).

Does the 4G15's compressor bolt onto 4G3x block? :-?

I'll arrange all the other stuff (condensor etc.) by means or another, but don't prefer to hack anything bizarre with the compressor block mounting, because I want to be 100% sure the belt will be moving exactly aligned&straight.

Thanks for any hints! :)

Anybody?

What about 4G15 a/c compressor onto 4G61? Any differences in mounting?

I'm about to have a full a/c set bought and shipped overseas, so I'd hate to see my money been wasted, if it doesn't fit to my engine..

Thanks in advance,

Arto

There was some discussion awhile... I think PMA talked about that. AFAIK, you will get this thing to work if the belts fit on all pulleys.

The A/C compressor mounts to a bracket that then bolts to the block. A 4G15 compressor mounts with 3 8 mm bolts to the bracket (probably 90 mm long?) and that bracket mounts to the 4G15, or 4G61 block with 4, 10mm bolts. Same bracket for 15 or 61 block.
