Hey there...

I have a 4G61 in my Colt GTi. I have a chance to buy the 4g63 non turbo exhaust manifold from a wrecker. Will it fit without any modifications? Is the bolt pattern the same?
I got my Eclipse NT camshafts... any suggestions on that?
What about throttle body and intake manifold? Will those fit exactly? Will I have to modify anything?
Any other suggestions?

Hi!

The 2G Eclipse exhaust manifold flows more than a 1G, so grab one of them. Please look in the archives (hint hint hint).

The 4G63 camshafts will give a 4G61 some more high end power. You have to grab the right camshafts. Look in the engine archives (hint, again).

The throttle body and intake manifold in our GTis are the same as in a 1G 4G63. Don't grab the 2G parts! They are smaller!

He said non turbo non turbo 2g's are dodge neon 420a engines that will not work.... yes a 4g63 manifold will bolt to a 4g61...

Wait... At least in Germany, 2G NA Eclipses didn't come with the 420A installed. The European 1G NA Eclipse has 150 HP while the 2G NA has 146 HP, so it IS a different engine. Maybe it's a 2G 4G63T stripped of the turbo & stuff?
Need to find some 2G guy who will let me take a look at his engine.

2G throttle body elbows are larger, and the sidemounts too.
