As a service to folks here, I'm offering to burn custom chips for anyone who's not interested in going Link/standalone/Jackal/Werewolf/etc.

Since DSMChips.com isn't in business anymore, it's getting harder and harder to find chips since everyone and their dog just jumps ship to Link or other options. Figured I'd help out, since I've been doing this stuff locally for a while now, on different platforms (VW, DSM, Honda, etc).

Here's the options I can offer on the 4G63T code (which works fine with the 4G61T):
-adjustable rev limit (within reason, no requests for 9000rpm redlines ;) )
-2G or EVO MAF (or a 1G MAF for those wanting to stick with the 4G61T base code instead of the 4G63T stuff)
-injector size changes
-fuel cut elimination
-CEL as shiftlight OR knocklight, can't do both.
-elimination of the factory Octane code (for more reliable power delivery. HIGH OCTANE PUMP GAS ONLY!)
-FPS or PPS solenoid output as an RPM or Boost trigger for water injection/Cyclone activation/etc.
-VSS-activated stutterbox/launch control
-double Hz mod, for better results while logging airflow
-raised idle
-boost gauge as knock/volt/etc (for those running a 1G eclipse/talon)
-phantom knock code (I can set this at whatever boost level you'd like...but if you blow something up at 20psi because you had it set at 19.5psi...not my fault ;) ).
-etc
-etc

Here's the options I can offer on the 4G61T code, for those out there who are purists ;):
-Adjustable rev limit
-1G MAF (2G or EVO as well...but that's a bit of overkill on the 61T, IMO)
-injector size changes
-fuel cut elimination
-raised idle
-more options coming soon.

I want folks to know that I claim NO ownership over any of these mods, and that all the info is readily available on the net. I just don't want to see the option of 'chips' disappear, when they work perfectly fine for 90% of the setups out there. More boost, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, plug and play :).

For $50, I'll burn the chip and ship it anywhere in North America. If there's issues, I'll help wherever and however I can, but if you fry your ecu because you put the chip in backwards...that's on your nickel ;).

**NOTE**
The 4G63T and 4G61T base codes are slightly different, but not majorly so. The 61T fuel and igntion maps are slightly bigger, but don't offer any appreciable difference to the mapping. I offer it simply as an option for folks out there who might be interested in that sort of thing, for whatever reason. I like playing with code, it's an addiction ;).

**NOTE NOTE**
I will also take trades as payment. I happen to need a few things for my project, and if you've got something I could use, and is worth $50...shoot me an offer and we'll talk! I happen to need a 1G FWD flywheel or a Colt GT pressure plate that isn't fubared. Headstuds or a 14b might be handy too, but I might have to contribute some cash, lol.

What is "VSS"? Can you switch the code to allow for Speed Density using a GM MAP and IAT?

Very well may be using you for my current 1g DSM project. My GVR4 has Link and I honestly do not wish to spend that kind of money again.

The VSS is the speed sensor :).

I can burn speed density chips, but without being there to tweak the tune, I can't promise that it will be very good. The 'stock' maps included in the SD tune are good enough to get the car running, but they ultimately need to be adjusted to get it bang on. I use Jackal and Werewolf for my SD tunes.

I may have my Werewolf/Ostrich setup for sale if you want similar functionality to Link, but only want to spend $200 ;).

Couple paychecks and you will have a PM either way. Lots of people in this area use Ostrich, some use Werewolf. And if some of these other chumps can make it work, I am sure I can too.
