Can suspension travel be less than zero?
Wasn't it already lol? Same ride quality, just lower.
No, before it actually had about an inch of travel. Now it's going to catch air when you drive over cracks in the pavement.
flying on the freeway FTW lol

Pulled the rear sub out of the car and started playing around with the stance a little. Hate on!

Those were my roomie's wheels though :(. Here is the setup I'll be running. A set of refurbished FD wheels that I picked up from a local.

I think in the entire time you've owned this car, you've spent more time trying out different wheel/tire combos than you have actually driving it. This is sad.

For the record, the gold meshies were the best-looking

Probably true about driving it. Probably going to be the case this summer as well with all the fab work that needs to be done. I probably drove it about as often as you drive your white car.

Quite possible. On a side note, I drove my white car around all weekend! It did great!

I've made a little more progress on the car. Right now I am in the process of building a dolly to raise the car a little and make it easier to move around the garage. After that is completed I will be able to start cutting for the rear end and then I'll have to purchase a tubing bender. In the meantime I cleaned and reorganized my entire garage and also worked on some little projects.

First up is the garage and how the car sits right now.
Image

Here is the engine bay in its current state. I'll be able to power-wash the bay and the garage floor once the dolly is complete.
Image

And lastly the project I spent a couple hours on. Removed the rear bumper support to free up some weight.
Image

Naked rear end.
Image

I then took the harness of the metal bumper and zip-tied it to the plastic cover after I drilled a couple holes through the foam.

And finally it all back on the car.

I know it's not too special, but I was bored and camera-happy. I still need to fab up a little something to stabilize the bottom of the cover so that it doesn't flap in the wind on the highway, but other than that I am happy with it.

Just out of curiosity, can you please weigh that rear bumper support and mounting bracket?

Thanks, in advance!
