So i've got a line on a way cheap set of gvr4 knuckles. I'm just wondering if anyone has some good info on the slotting the strut route to fix the positive camber. how much to slot and best way to do it? any help is appreciated.

The best way? Pick up a set of camber plates from yoshifab. I'd stay away from cutting into the strut mount.

yes, those are a bit spendy for what I'm looking at now. I was under the impression you slot the bottom of the strut where it mounts to the knuckle allowing you push the whole strut in on the knuckle, kinda as cam bolts do but more extreme.

It's possible and I'm sure it's been done a lot by people who hack their cars but in the long run, it's not as safe as just buying camber plates. Cutting into the area where suspension points mount is never a good idea.

http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=32097 page 3. hack is a realitive term, like good, or cool. some consider anything not factory or direct bolt on to be a hack, reaming the tierod hole for the gvr4 knuckles so the colt tierod goes in normal is no less dangerous than slotting the top hole on the strut, some consider one a hack, some both, it is up to you to take care in what you do to make sure its safe. I plan to do both to my car.
