300 ACTUAL horsepower is a little tougher to do with the 1.6L. Especially at altitude. And the 16g. With that said, even 250whp uncorrected still is enough to haul some ass and spank a few asses on the street. Just put it together, it will be what ever it ends up being. Unless you really spend money and put the right parts that compliment each other. The right formula though. But a 16g alone will move the car quite nice.

The 2g maf works great and you can alter setting to compensate easily with it. I ran 10's on one and wasn't even maxing out. The car will run and drive very close to stock which is nice.

With the 2g maf do I need to relocate my battery or rig my own intake to go where the stock air can use to be? I pretty much got all my parts ordered or on hand already all I need is 2g maf 1000cc injectors furl pump and a few odds and ins. Cant wait to get this thing going :D

I did put the battery in the back and just used a 2G injen intake for my 2g maf...or you could get a tiny optima battery and build a small braket to keep it in the front.

I'll figure something out for the intake. As far as the fuel pump Will any walbro 255 work or is there a specific pump that drops right in?

Do a search. I just asked this question recently for my summit on the fuel pump. There is only two styles of pumps. Either has to be adapter anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

My '61t did 280whp on a Mustang dyno with e316g at 25 psi with GM maf and a small fmic.

Ok So I got a new to me Turbine housing from Jacks transmission and my oil line kit came in today so I went to screw the fitting in the oil feed hole of the turbo and it seems stripped out. What should I do?

Make sure you have the proper size first off, maybe copy paste you invoice or parts.

10mm x 1.25 Thread - DSM Oil source from head
10mm x 1.50 Thread - Subaru Turbo oil inlet
12mm x 1.25 Thread - Standard DSM Turbo oil inlet
14mm x 1.50 Thread - DSM and Subaru Turbo Water Line

I pulled this from online somewhere.

Both parts are new correct? I don't see why something would be stripped, I've also never seen a oil feed port stripped anyway, that's why I ask if you ordered the right parts. On extremepsi they have a drop down menu to chose the proper size even though the title may state dsm 14b,16g ect. you must also chose your turbo in the drop down menu as well.

Post a picture. I doubt it is stripped. The turbo is cast. It is pretty tough. I would see the fitting stripping first, especially if it is the wrong pitch.

This is the kit I bought Its supposed to be 12mm x 1.25 fitting. http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product ... ctid=17334 The fitting screws in but is a little to small. The fitting screws into the other ebay 16g I have perfectly. Maybe My real 16g has been re threaded for a different size thread? It dosnt look stripped.

Well, time to take the turbo to the local hardware store and see what ya got, maybe plan on cleaning the turbo to ensure no shavings got inside if it is stripped but like biglady said I doubt it.

Went to Whistler bearing and it was a standard thread. Got the fitting in and fired the car up today and have a few drops coming out of the fitting. ](*,) Can I Put any kind of sealant on threads to try and cure the leak? It has a new copper crush washer but the fitting didnt thread in completely straight. Also will I be ok driving the car on the big 16g intecooled on wastegate boost with sock injectors, mas and ecu untill I can install my injectors pump and dsm link?

I have used thread tape without issue. You won't know on the 16g though unless you datalog knock. Knowing what I know about these cars, just be gente and boost as little as possible until more mods go in. Unintercooled of course. Intercooled you can get away with it.
