This is a question directed at the guys who have really ran the s*&% out of the stock 61t's, what rpm were you shifting at on stock valvetrain? I'd imagine you were in the 8500rpm range if you weren't making full boost until 6000rpm. At least from your mods descriptions it seemed like you guys were running stock valvetrain aside from a set of cams.

Just so as to not completely hijack the op's thread, I'd like to also 100% agree on DSMLink as your first mod. Take the time to learn all about this product and the support that Dave and Tom (creators/owners) provide through the wiki (http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki) and via email is second to none. Also check out the DSMLink forums (http://www.dsmlink.com/forums) for a ton of help, guidance, and setup tips/suggestions. It is an amazing tool that will allow you to properly tune your setup as you enhance it along the way to completion. It is hands down one of the best mods for a DSM/CSM owner.

I've never done this on a 4g61t, but I definitely revved my 4g63t to 9,000rpm on a regular basis with stock valvetrain and HKS 272/272 cams. My setup hit full boost around 4,500-5,000rpm. It never missed a beat. I see no reason why you couldn't do this on a 4g61t as well. With more-aggressive cams, you would want to consider stiffer valve springs.

Well I guess I know which route I'm going with the car now lol Guy told me it was brand new over the phone and when I got there he told me it had a couple dyno pulls on it. Looks brand new though with zero shaft play and has the billet wheel so I guess $550 is a decent deal :D Next on the list ecmlink.

8500-9000rpm for 5+ years. No issues, never over revved either though.

Looks like it might haul ass if you can get all the parts you need to make it happen. Please stick with the T3 setup. You will be happy you did. What turbine housing is on it?

The .63 is pretty small, but not that small. Expect 5500rpm full boost. At least. But boy oh boy will it be worth the wait.

I can live with that. Should pull as far as the motor will rev. What manifold and wastegate would work best? Also Is the 5 bolt t3 flange the same as dsm? And I herd a long time ago that honds bseries has the same manifold to head bolt pattern as dsm is true?
Also here are the rest of the specs on the turbo Precision ptb500-6262sp 2.450" Ind/3.228" Exd
2.795" Ind/2.437" Exd 76 Trim

I would go with either a treadstone or a turbonetics manifold. We have good luck with ebay 38mm wastegates.

It is the honda H series manifolds that are close. You still need to drill the holes out though. Just get a manifold for a dsm. I think there is even a treadstone on here a guy can't get rid of. A dsm flange and a T3 flange of any kind are not the same. Both inlets and outlets.

The design changed a tad on the hat from when we last bought one. But these JDM ones are what we use. Any of the colors from these guys are fine. Tial springs are a direct fit. And the last ones we had also use all Tial parts. The price went up $20-30, but still fair.

Treadstone's can still be had new. And turbonetic's can be had new and used as well. You can go ebay tubular, but I would have it rewelded first. Can't beat cast though. The treadstone is like $300 new.

This looks just like the treadstone. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GALANT-VR4-LASE ... 911wt_1163

It does, but no indication who makes it. The treadstone can at least be trusted. The turbonetics has a T over a star on the collector. Can't miss it. Everyone copied that one.

I am sure it will fit, it will be the durability that is questionable. For the price go for it.
