I bet you Ohio right now is really embarrassed. You know he's lookin here and is going to be looking over his shoulder for a while. He knew that shit was like that when he sold it, unless the new owner did a few 30 psi plus passes in the way home and farged something up. What a a conartist. Figured the new owner was gonna drive a few hundred miles and be in the dark and then swallow the fact that his new ride was in the need of a tune then bLAME the new owner of driving it like that and damage being done since he decided to drive it instead of flat bedding it. Hey Gearhead, didnt you check the fluids or drive it for atleast 20 mins before you layed down the cash? I always check the oil and how much sludge is under the oil cap and coolant.

Yes. Of course i checked it. It was the very first thing i grabbed ahold of once the hood was popped. We drove it around for almost 30min. Then looked it all over again once we got back to his house. It looked ok. And driving it home... There was no possible way to do any pulls. It struggled to even hit highway speeds. And every time i would ease in the throttle a bit to p/u speed, it would bogg down so bad that i had to let my foot off the pedal. I just kept saying to myself..." Its just the big injectors in need of a serious tune!"

And Red Sleeper has been a bigger help to me than i think he even realizes. Honestly, I have to admitt that he is actually the very person that got me hooked on CSM's and we hadnt even met yet. I saw him running his black awd at our local track and realized that his little bottle rocket was faster than my 2006 Evo9 MR. And when you do up the math... Lets say, for arguments sake, that his cost about $19k to build completely. And my Evo MR cost me $41k and some change.... Then his bottle rocket was the better choice. It is just funny to me now to think, the very person i was going to "COPY CAT" his build with my 1989 Dodge Colt. Is the very person helping get my ducks in a row. Btw... That 89 is for sale. $400. But goes to the Boneyard this Friday. 09/23/11. I know. It breaks my heart to do it too! But i got nowhere for it to sit. I think that I am going to regret sending her off too. She was my first after-all. LOL. CSM, that is. Welp gotta run. I got diapers to change and mouths to feed. Thanks again to all those who have helped. And again, for the thousandth time... Thanks again Red Sleeper for doing what it is you do. Pimp'n aint easy. Peace.

Sorry I missed the "Big pile O' Shit for 3 Grand" thread.

I thought the same thing when I read the thread.

OP- I hope you didn't pay nearly 3000 for that thing. I've learned over the years to avoid piles that are mismatched and need a lot of unknowns. First thing that clued me in was the 660 injectors and 2g mas with NO way to control them. You can get away with 550 and 2g combo with no controller but 660s no way. Hope everything works out for you though. Get some stock 1g injectors and mas until you have a way to tune after the HG gets swapped.

Head gaskets aren't hard especially if you have someone like red sleeper helping you. At least part it out before sending it to the yard. :o

You better believe that Im gutting & cutting! If it can fit in my storage unit, Im snatching it off then. Im keeping everything but the 1.5ltr 12v motor. Of which has almost all new, out of the box, parts on it. Whomever is in need of stock 1.5 engine parts, this would be a great junkyard pick. Im almost done plucking parts. So if you live on or near Cincinnati, please pm me or text me what you want plucked off. (513) six73- two386. Mornings are best for me.

Well I finally have all the parts I need to do the head gasket the right way. So I am about to dive into it head first... Wish me luck!!! Hopefully I dont open her up & notice even bigger problems than originally projected. That would not be cool at all. Well enough talking the talk... LOOK OUT 4G63, HERE COMES A ROOKIE BUILDER!!! HAHA.
