Hey guys, wanted to post some pics of the Colt I just picked up. I found it on Autotrader and the car was located up in Indiana. I had the car shipped down to GA 2 weeks ago (after putting up with a horrible shipping company) and I have just been able to get it cleaned up. The Colt is in really good condition for a 22 year old car. It has 138,000+ miles on it, 2 owners before me and is completely stock. The original owner had it up to 133,000 and the second owner bought it 5 years ago and kept it in his garage and barely drove it. The car cleaned up really well and I am excited to have another CSM!! It will need a new timing belt, water pump, etc. right away... There is a groove worn into the outer side of the timing belt and the timing cover is not on correctly, the AC belt is rubbing the face of it. Other than that, it just needs routine maintenance for a 22 year old car (plugs, fuel filter, fluids, belts, hoses, shocks, AC). The interior needs a new gauge cluster surround and that's pretty much it. The seats and belts are a little faded, but nothing bad at all. I haven't been able to clean the engine much yet, I will hit it pretty hard when I do the timing belt install. Let me know what you guys think!!!!!

Really? I'm not a big fan, I like the turbo blade style wheels better. After I get all of the maintenance done on the car, I will be getting new wheel and tires (it will be a while).

 Haha, thanks! It wasn't nearly that clean when I got it. I spent one weekend gutting and cleaning all of the interior and the other weekend buffing the paint.

I don't think either of the two owners were on this forum. They both lived in Indianapolis, IN. The first owner was an older gentlman and the second owner just kept it in his garage because he know it was a rare car (he is a honda guy anyways).

I probably paid more than what most people would have paid. It was $3200. I have seen people asking more for worse. I figured that you CAN'T find these in good condition as a stock car anymore so I knew I would have to pay a little more. I don't mind paying more money for something that doesn't need countless hours of work getting the car back to a decent condition.
