Well the weather was in the low 70's here yesterday so it was perfect to go and watch some local drag racing. The field was about 80% muscle cars but I did see some interesting imports and a nice GN. Most of the pics were taken at night so please forgive the quality.

There was a red 1g awd automatic with nitrous running low 11's, a basically stock red 2g and a yellow evo that was running really well.

By far the sweetest thing that I saw didn't come from Mitsubishi believe it or not. It was a 92 Maxima with a 3.5VQ swap from a 350Z and the stock tired automatic tranny with 220k on it and a restalled converter. It was an all motor car and it sounded nasty. Let's just say he got everybody's attention the first time he went up to do a burnout. :P

I got a chance to talk to the owner and he was a pretty cool guy. A low budget racer for sure that was all about power and could care less about looks. He said his best time so far was a 12.05, not bad for a car that probably only costs a few grand to build. It was also stripped down to about 2400 lbs.
