Well I took my 1g to the track awhile back, I was impressed with the results of the holset at such low boost. I ran out of injector at 24psi so I ran it as is. Pulls really good, but the trans is on its way out. Let me know what you all think.

Wow, not bad at all. Car sounded real healthy. What's the rest of your setup (i.e. cams, intake manifold, engine management, exhaust manifold.)

1.) They let you run without a helmet?

2.) They let you run with a cracked windshield?

3.) What was in that truck!?

The instant I noticed you weren't wearing a helmet on a pass like that, I was shocked!!! Is it 12.99 seconds and under the helmet is required?

I did this at the midnight drag event at Rocky Mountain Raceway. They are flexible about the rules, since its all street cars. The guy saw my laptop in my girlfriends lap on one of the runs and the guy just shook his head and let us run. The inspectors that check out your cars even let you run with a relocated battery not vented and no killswitch.

The truck was a Gillette Diesel sponsored Duramax. Very fast truck, all four 20 inch rims had a Nitto drag radial on it so i knew it was going to rip.

Specs of the car
Stock bottom end with 145k
stock head with 272 hks cams
Stock intake mani
AEM rail
1000cc fic's 255 and aeromotive @ 55psi
E85
Ebay t3 mani
Holset HX-40 with bep .70a/r t3 housing
tial 38 off the mani
3 inch vband downpipe to straight 3 inch
aem wideband
Dsmlink V2
3 inch gm maft
Punishment fmic with ets stainless piping
HKS ssqv
manual boost controller
act2600 act street disc
RX-7 FD rims with kumho ecstas 215/55/16's
kyb agx with ground control coilovers

Race Weight 2900 pounds
