Hell when you think about it, the fact that the BASE HP for a V6 is around the 260-27 HP range, imagine throwing a supercharger or a turbo on it and tuning the hell out of it. I know that the 4b11 would be an easier engine to work with but imagine the kind of power you could put down with the V6. I'm interested...

but are the internals for the v6 capible of handing the boost? probably not

I guarantee you they're not. The 4 banger is gonna hit the tuner market hard. People are probably just gonna put intake/exhaust/headers on the V6 and call it a day.

I bet someone will come out with a Supercharger kit or a turbo kit for the V6.

Found this on another board they were talking about this kit for the Genesis,

3.8 v6 aftermarket supercharger revealed. Around 500hp(not sure about those numbers but close)

Red: Intake manilfold with intercooler. I am sure you can change the small resovoir into a icebox for 30+hp gain like what most people did with the Alpine supercharger(on the tiburon)

Blue: Rotorex supercharger.

think thats the chicago auto show. i was there on sat, and checked out the cars in person. even the genisis sedan they had looked SICK think it even had 20's! lol

Those Pics are from Chicago. My best friend took them for me... as my SD card on my Camera corrupted and I lost all my pictures.

Yes we are crazy enough to drive from Alabama to Chicago :D

The dealer in town just got one in. Unfortunately it is the v6 with auto. Sticker says $31xxx. It had the brembos so it must be on of the higher end models. The salesman said it was one of 28 (in the state?) available now with them becoming generally available 4 months from now.
