Is anyone on the forum bidding on this? I don't want to get into a bidding war with someone on the forum and have one of us get screwed out of a nice car.
I'm seriously considering bidding. I'm up in Mi for the Thankgiving holiday and I'd be a little over 100 miles away. I sent an email asking if I could come up to see it. But, since you were courteous enough to ask, if you decide you're going for it I won't get into a bidding war. But.. I would be willing to go to $400, otherwise. That's not to say it might not go for more anyway... :-?
So... if you would, let me know if you seriously plan on bidding.

I had one of those; I used it for all my 4g15-4g61 swap parts. Mine came with a five speed KM206, and unequal lenth axles. I'll be curious to hear what axles this one comes with.

Did someone on here buy it? I didn't even get a chance to look at it. If it was in NE PA I would have checked it out.

No, Im from NEPA. If the car had been from here, it would be sitting in my garage right now.

The one I got didn't, I wonder if I just got screwed out of the original axles by the previous owner.

For those of you who didn't know, this car is back up on Ebay. I drove 1h 45min one way to take a look at it to see what it was worth for me to bid up to, and came back a little sad. I wouldn't say the whole trip was a waste, cause I would be pissed if I bid and spent more than 100 bucks on this car. It has some good parts, but if you are looking for an entire nice car search elsewhere. A quick rundown of what I saw:

-Major tear on in rear seats
-Unsanded bondo on inside rocker part of rear door
-15+ dents in hood
-Rear part under taillight worse looking that in ad, starting to rust
-Extensive rust on BOTH rear wheel arches
-Rust coming through underneath paint behind rear drivers door (underneath the paint that is obviously NOT factory)

The car was also filled to the brim in junk. I am sure that there is more wrong with it, but this is just a heads-up to anyone considering buying it. The bidding is already over what I feel the car is worth, so bid at your own expense. I didn't bring a digital camera, and it was too dark for my phone so I have no pics.

No problem, guys. I know that I would be pissed if I bought a car that was far away from me only to find out it was a POS. I'm a little mad at the guy selling it cause I know he could've told me that the car had rust and was in bad shape instead of making me drive to look at it. I even asked him in an email if it had rust and how the body was and he just kinda ignored me and had me come look at it. I know you guys would do the same for me if I was looking at one that was far away.
