RUN HAS ENDED AS OF MARCH 2009, IF YOU NEED ONE OF THESE YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT LOWER SHORES PERFORMANCE TO SEE WHEN THE NEXT GROUP BUY WILL RUN.

This has already run once at http://www.galantvr4.org with much success, so be rest assured that this is on the up and up. The original thread which is still being used for the second round can be found here:
http://www.galantvr4.org/ubbthreads/sho ... art=1&vc=1

Pictures for those interested, or that can't log into the galant site without registering:

The old advert from Ebay, which is for the exact same unit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo-Bo ... 0236432354

IF you have just a simple ball and spring type unit, this newer style unit with more features, will help cure any boost related maladies directly related to delayed boost controller reaction, assuming your turbo is setup properly (porting and wastegate), and the rest of your system is designed and operating properly.

Price per unit is $35 US plus shipping on top of that, only because the cost of the brass has recently gone up, exponentially. First run this did not apply to, but it will for us, or anyone buying now for that matter.

I've posted this here as a courtesy to Lower Shores Performance and Brian (hiboost07) who can be reached here via email for orders:

Hello everyone, I'm very sorry for the long wait with my replies. Its just been such a hectic few months since I moved, got married and started a new job. Things are now starting to calm down so I'm ready to start making more boost controllers. If anyone wants to start getting a group purchase together, even through other websites, you have my go ahead. The more orders I can get helps with the purchase of the parts. I will start a list and anyone can either post here or e-mail me directly at the below address if you have any questions:

The price for the controllers will be the same ($35.00) with the exception that it won't be free shipping due to the increased price of the brass. I only ship through USPS priority mail with tracking so there will be no risk of anyone losing their money and controller. I have had excellent service with USPS shipping my parts overseas so you can feel confident your controller will be in good hands. I work second shift so I will be checking messages herre after 11PM and will try to get back with everyone as soon as possible. Ok everyone, take care and have a good week.

Brian
You can direct all questions to Brian as I'm ony the middle man who decided to get this some more exposure, as the VR4 boys were getting a great deal on this.

Cheers,

Tim Eagles
aka
Flying Eagle

Did you feel any kind of a difference between what you had and this one?

It didn't have a boost controller previously but you can dial the boost pretty damn accurate with the fine tune knob. Alot of people were pleased with it over at galantvr4.org.

I'm in for one of these already, so other people must need one too. Brian has purchased enough materials to do another run of 30 MBC's, so now is your chance to get the best MBC on the market, and for the price too.

Posted at New Zealand's Mirage Lancer forum. I'll have a unit in my hands soon to show people as my car won't be moving far enough to boost it in my parking lot. This unit has been produced by Brian for quite some time and has received some very good feedback, so don't hesitate to ask any questions of Brian, or to order if you know that this is what you need; this is what all DSM/CSM/MMC owners can use to take that first step of modifying their boost control setup. Price is right, and the parts are in.

As soon as I find some more money, I'll buy one. It looks like a quality piece.

There are still 21 units ~ left for him to ship out, if this and the VR4 advertisement updates are correct. I have mine in hand and it looks just like the pictures I posted, in every respect. I can't test mine as the car is tarped, but nobody has mentioned any issues yet, so that is good so far. :D

Still any of these units left? Traded the summit for a 1G, and I need to pick one up. Cash in hand.

I believe there are lots left, so email him and see what he has made or on hand, and I'm sure it will make it's way to you soon. There was almost 20+ units left when I posted the last updates here over a month ago. Best looking deal in town for what you get for the price. I would install mine and rate it, but I'm a turbo newb, and unless it works worse than what was cobbled together on my car already, it's only up hill from here now. :P

I believe the price has gone up though. I know it has on the GVR4 board. I bought one and it is by far the best MBC I have ever used and the price is a steal. No spiking and rock solid boost. Great product :supz:
