I need some serious help. My 89 Mirage Turbo with 4G63t swap gets horrible gas milage, a whole tank in two days!!! Can not figure out what is wrong. I could also use the lug pattern for my car.

Horrible as in how horrible? I know that the 4g63t is a gas guzzling pig, and my milage has dropped a whole lot from the days of its original motor. I am estimating right now I get about 400km to a single tank of gas (not sure what that is in miles...how many Kms in a mile again?) It is not good whatever it is. My last project car got 600km to a tank with 200hp @ the wheels! This little pig is expensive.

Wow, I don't find this to be the case at all. My Eclipse consistently gets 27-30mpg, my Mirage (255lp/hr, 650s and VPC) gets 24-26 and Gail's Mirage (255lp/hr & 550s) gets 27-30mpg with mixed city/hwy driving.

Might be time to get the old service manual out and just go over everything. Either that or just try not to go WOT for 5 minutes straight. :D

I've seen close to 35mpg on my 1.6L before. On the flipside, I've also seen 20mpg. This is with no tune-up or hardware changes. Just changes in the way I drive. Of course the 35mpg was all highway miles. :)

Can anyone confirm the size of the tank I've seen documentation saying the hatch had a 50L tank is that true? (if it is my gas gauge is really wrong...)
