Wow, what can i say.....today is just freakin horrible! Took so much crap from everyone and by the end of the day at work, i was not exactly in my best mood. Had to take home one of thoes sh*t F**K's at work and had to hear all this sh*t from him and arguing with him as we were driving my AE85. Well, everything that he sad just pissed me off more and more and just when im about to snap, we were comming up on the turn to get into the free way, well the light was green and the sign up ahead said 25 with a full circle to indicate a 360 onto the free way. well i forgot what he had said at the end but i kind of just well....didnt brake much just to scare him and we were going at the turn at around 40 or so before tapping on the brakes(just a guess). I felt the car start to slip and thought, this is a little too far and as the coworker was screaming hes lungs out, i countered a little, taped the brakes very lightly and it still sliped, and i had to counter a lot more cause the headlights were facing off the cliff(wasn't a good picture). Long details short...a lot of countering and quick movments were involved but i saved my car and myself. Although the coworker was sh*tting in hes pants, i ddn't fear for my life or anything cause i kind of knew what would have happened anyways since i've been in lots of situations, but i was worried that i would or did pop my tires or bend the exhuast. i checked under the car and nothing major was damaged. only scratches on some things but everything was fine, yup even alignment was fine. That lightened my mood and i wanted to do it again. i really needed something to clear my mind(im not a drinker). im a proud owner of a AE85 and it proved its handling potential to me today. Although i spun, i now realize and can make adjustments to my actions on the next incident. As for this one, i could have not given the car as much gas with the turn, should of pulled the e brake a little to try to make the car understeer or at least try to keep the oversteer to a minimum cause the car had neutral weight when i spun. i know cause the spin wasn't that quick and it was caused cause of my foot on the throttle in the begining. after that, everything felt much better and the 40 mile drive home wasn't as bad as it would have been and im much more happier then i was at work. just when i needed the most, a car cheered me up at that split second when i was going to snap

edited - at the end of the moment, i spun 180* and ended up a couple of feet off of the ramp, this all happened around half way in the 360* freeway ramp. the strange thing is...the car didnt shut off like most cars should...

:stick: One of those days but that's the beauty of it all - then you snap and it all goes away until the sirens fade into your rage and you come to. Uh, what I mean to say is ..... 8)
Glad to see you pulled the car out of it.

Theres nothing quite like taking your and a coworkers life to the brink of extinction, and realizing that the dice rolled your way today.

I think we have all been to that point some time in our lives... :-?

unlike my coworker, i wasn't scared for my life, i was just worried when the car went offroad cause the tires could have poped. but after i drove home, checked under the car and all around, nothing was wrong. it was fun though. id do it again

I flew past a cop doing 95 (on I-94) on saturday, didn't do crap, followed an undercover cop in the fast lane at 85+mph for about an hour. Got a half face tan from driving for 4 hours with the sun on one side of my face. #-o

One ramp I take fairly often is rated at 35... I easily take it at 65. It's all about the apexes. Three turns, right / left / right.
