Would like pictures showing where the "strings" mount to the rear hatch to lift the rear package tray. Thanks in advance. :)

There are little hooks that clip to the hatch, sadly my car is not at my house or I would take some...

If your car didn't have a package tray from the factory, the hooks probably aren't there. They just attached to the hatch, can't remember if they're glued or not. Put the tray in and with the hatch open, pull the string up to the hatch and you'll figure out where it goes easily.
