A 2g head is completely different than a 1g head when it comes to the intake ports. The intake ports on a 2g head are way smaller than a 1g, but the exhaust ports are the same. If you wanted to put a 2g head on a 1g you'd need a 2g intake manifold, or you'd have to port the 2g head to match the 1g intake manifold runners. Then you'd have to port the throttle body hole on the intake manifold to match the 1g throttle body, which is larger than a 2g throttle body.

The 2g heads also use a smaller diameter head stud than a 1g head, so you'd have to drill out your block to accept those. There are a lot of other little differences such as the water neck/thermostat housing and the water pipe going to the water pump. I'm sure there are a lot of other things i'm forgetting too.

Yeah, it's not exactly a drop-in affair. It would be quite time consuming.

I might need that head if you don't take it. You could make a little bit of money off of it but only if shipping wasn't outrageous. PM if your willing to work out something
