:D Yeah, we do know "pretty." Right now I'm making some "things" pretty. (I'll put them on another thread later, like next month.) My fuel rail is OEM, but will be black-chromed with the Buscher FPR.

Bill: Your lucky you have a full time job and make good income, i have a part time job, its hard for me to just buy things, the fuel rail was 90 bucks, i couldn;t go wrong on it. Thats why i ask if it worth getting the FPR, i decided not and i'm going with a different set-up, i'm ditching the safc...but its black and PRETTTTY

BTW if you drill out your stock FPR it is no longer "stock".

What works for me is a Cartech FPR that is in series with the OEM reg. The Cartech only holds back return flow when there is boost pressure. The OEM reg. idles at about 30# and goes to about 60# at full boost. When the adjustable Cartech is hooked in, it is set to max at 80# so I get an extra 20# which is enough to make a 450 flow like a 550. This gives me a smooth progression in pressure from 30 to 80. 85# is about the max injectors can handle. This combination has worked for a couple years so far with no problems.

that sounds nice. My friend runns over 100psi at full boost on his turbo Omni (12.1's) and he has no problems.

Lets not play a semantic game here. The word "stock" means "unmodified". Period.

When you modify a stock part, it becomes "modified". You can call it a "modified stock part" or "banana booty" but it is no longer just "stock".

Ok, fine. Well then my bananna booty ported regulator works great at making a 255lhp car idle like a champ!

im using a stock rail (no need for an aftermarket one..the stock one feeds up to 500 hp at least...) aeromotive regulator, and a -6AN line in and out. rewired 255 pump and custom mod to the fuel pump cap..

I think he is talking about to run a stock regulator. I dont know off the top of my head and I am not at home, my computer is down. Just take the regulator off the rail, look at the inlet, and think how freakin restrictive it is, it will make sense, and Im sure you will be able to figure it out.

Ok I used stock fuel rail, stock fuel pressure regulator, with 550cc injectors, 255pump, and Super AFC. It supported 396WHP on dyno testing.
That was enough to get me a 11.9sec in 1/4 mile and that was blowing the tires out from under the car in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and chrupping it in 4th!!! :o I was using stock turbo wheels and 205/55-14 Nitto555Rs. Never felt the need to modify the stock fuel pressure regulator, much less put on one of those big shiny adjustable ones.
