Hey all, just found the site. I had a 89 Mirage Turbo back when I was a kid, and I mistakenly traded it away many years ago. I have the car building bug again, and got to poking around and wonder where my old car went.

Vin = JA3CU54Z5KU005941

Hi ssimple,

Welcome back ... easiest thing to say because with these little cars, there is that general sense of never having really left when you see pics of them and sit in one again and get those tell tales sounds and smells.

I run the Vin Registry and have checked with your VIN, as posted above.

There is no current entry with that VIN, so we now have a new entry!

Thanks for the update, and let us hope that some sees this and it comes full circle.

There are lots of these cars still out there and unaccounted for on the registry, so it is either a matter of time till it is found or unfortunately we may never know.

There were more instances of the GVR4's being reunited but with a little over 3000+ in the USDM, it goes without saying that there are many cars with many different owners over their lifespan.

Car was over 120k miles back in 2001 when I traded it. I actually saw it around town a few times within the following few years, but at this point I suspect its dead somewhere never to be found again. Trading it in, is probably something i'll regret forever. Car was in my family from new, until I traded it away.

Which city and state would the car have been located in when you sold it? I'm am now doing an entry for the car, but need a location to put in with it.
