Oh, you too?

That happened to me also.

Bench test the starter, if good, move forward.

I found the wiring ground connection just below where the factory battery goes, is a connector that runs back towards the starter. Good for a green/corroded spot.

If you have a signal from the ignition to the top of the starter solenoid, you will confirm a circuit all the way to the starter.

Make sure the starter ground wiring has an "actual" unpainted connection to the starter body, AND the starter plate is contacting an upainted surface of the starter nose, AND an unpainted portion of the block. It doesn't have to be that complicated, but it came that way from the factory, plated, but non-insulating by nature.

Otherwise you only have the power wire coming in, and the single ground wire coming out. More unpainted surfaces = more return to ground via the block and ground straps/wires.

I see a lot of paint, and a damn good job, but it could be insulating the connection.

Hey, aren't you an electrician by trade ?? :supz: I j/k.

Did you try jumping the starter with a screwdriver to see if it was bad signal wire or bad power wire?

Thanks for help.
All the wirring is new and made by me with O gauge for positive from trunk (batterie) and OO gauge for all's grounds.
Starter bench tested is ok, but not installed in car !
Two days lost with this crazy story, controlled again all wirring like suggested by Tim.
Swaped it with another and everything is fonctionnal now :D

Started the Colt tonight.
I need to play with Link for SD base tune before local inspection.
Last pictures tomorrow my friends.

Remy

Looks great, all these years of hard work and money has paid off for you! I just went back to page 7 and looked at the stock pic of under the hood. What a difference it is now.

Car looks awesome! Yes, clean is an understatement! I love the control arm bar too. I've been wanting to make one for mine.
