Love it, just wish the Mugen part with yellow inserts said Ralliart.

I am digging the TRD coloration/material for the wheel.

I just purchased both the Hub boss and the ralliart wheel, it has a bit of dish which is good, will post pics when received.

Well, if you can find one for the 89 GT Turbo, then you can use it. If you're talking about one of those universal ones that fit between the hub and wheel, then it'll work fine since the hub is dual drilled. You may have to get a wheel to match the QR hub adapter though. The wheel could also be very close to your chest, those adapters aren't thin.

I think I may just leave the plastic shroud off of mine, and paint it black. It'd look cleaner.

I found specs on the steering wheel movement, up/down and fore/aft!

Factory pre-release Series 2000 Mirage/Colt
http://www.lilevo.com/mirage/1%201%20BR ... ES%207.jpg

20mm Up or Down total movement for adjustable columns.

10mm Fore and Aft (In/Out) total movement - Turbo style wheel, with telescoping function only. Function is built into the steering wheel base.

Somewhat off topic:
Some 89 sedans came with a 2 spoke telescoping/tilting wheel too.

I can confirm this as my '89 Summit LX sedan has the typical "turbo" style wheel with tilt and telescoping functions. Also has "turbo" style seats, clock in dash and gauge cluster. BOOM!

Summits got a higher grade of trim, but never a turbocharged engine option. That was only the Talon from what I know.

Summit trim options got the turbo wheel, upgraded cloth seats, and other options like power windows.

Didn't PMA1123 have those cool turbo shaped seats, with alternate cloth from the disco plaid turbo models?

Dunno about pma1123 but that's exactly what this sedan has. The front seats are the same as the Colt Turbo disco-plaid seats and the back seat is the sedan back seat, but also has the sweet disco-plaid cloth.

Paul's seats are different than the standard turbo seats, the material is anyway. IMO they look better too. They are all one color, a blue/gray.

Free bump for the steering wheel thread because this has zero to do with it. 8)

I just got my adapter and installed it today. I got the same Luisi one that Broke4speed has. I had to modify it slightly so I'll post the details. I have a 1G DSM column switch installed on my CSM steering shaft so that's probably the source of mine requiring modification. Also, the spring plunger for the horn switch is not quite long enough to touch the brass ring on the adapter, even after I ground it down shorter. Again, probably due to it being a DSM switch assembly.

Here it is installed.

The plastic sleeve can be slid in/out to get the correct spacing away from the trim that covers the column switch.

I noticed the adapter didn't push down onto the steering shaft all the way, it was close but it bottomed out on the column switch just barely. If I would have tightened the nut on the adapter it would have either crushed the column switch slightly and possibly breaking it or just plain not fit right. So I had to grind off a bit of the base of the adapter.

It was 4/10ths thick. I ground it down to around 3/10ths, maybe slightly less. That's all I needed to get the adapter to seat on the steering shaft. Once the nut was tight holding the adapter onto the shaft, I can now still push in on the springy plastic turn signal release verifying that the adapter was not bottoming out that plastic assembly.

All in all I love it. It fits well and works great.

Yep, that's exactly the one I got. I'll have to try that bit of grinding once I get a wheel, thanks for the pics!

I just got my hub and ralliart wheel in today, hopefully install tomorrow.

Ok got ansy and installed today even though I'm sick, the fitment was perfect and the plastic hub cover looks great and fits perfect too IMO. Also the ralliart wheel is awesome quality and has the perfect amount of dish for my seating position, very happy with this set-up.
