I'm using a 2G DSM knock sensor, from a 98 eclipse. All the later mitsu knock sensors will work, just not the 1G/colt turbo stuff.

Stay away from any 2004-2006 Ralliart ecus. They're for a 2.4L MIVEC motor, and are drive-by-wire. They are completely incompatible with the swap.

The 00 eclipse ecu is a no go. It uses a different processor than the 01-03 eclipses, and it won't take to the swap. The two lancer ecus will work, although the A/T has a different pinout than the usual M/T swap. It's here:

http://www3.sympatico.ca/tchaad/LancerA ... pinout.xls

The Evo 8 file is 256kb in size, but the A/T ecu requires a 512kb file. This is the base Tephra V7 file with a mod to the size so it flashes fine and works perfectly.

http://www3.sympatico.ca/tchaad/9653070 ... od_512.bin

This is the ONLY XDF file you can use with the swap, but it's got all the goodies ;).

http://www3.sympatico.ca/tchaad/TephraM ... v7_512.xml

Now, if you find an M/T ecu, the regular evo 8 stuff will work fine. The modded files above are for the A/T only. You'll also need A/T ecu plugs, as the are very different than the M/T.

I have an M/T ecu w/pigtails here if you want, $75 plus shipping ;). I grab whatever ones I can when they come into the local yard.
