Hello all, my name is Justin, and I am from Atlanta, GA, I work as the head tech at a little performance shop called bATLground Motorsports. Earlier this week, I picked up a 1992 Dodge Colt. The car came with the stock 4g15, just not installed, the previous owner removed it to do a 4g63 swap.
My plans are to reinstall the 4g15, and possibly adding a "budget" turbo kit. By "budget" turbo kit, I mean a lot of old parts that I have laying around. My only problem with that is the old turbo I have is an evo8 16g, and I think it might be too big for the 1.5L. What are your guys thoughts? If I were to use the evo turbo, I have a weaker (7psi) wastegate I would make work.
Aside from that, I got some 2g wheels, as well as the 1g hubs. The 5 lug is going to happen before the car drives. Also, I am going to lower the car before it moves.
It has some exterior damage, mainly the driver rear wheel arch. Other than that, nothing major. I am looking for a few things: tailights, passenger mirror, and driver rear wheel arch.
The interior looks like crap. I need a dash pad, as well as some other little things. The front seats will be replaced with Bride replica's (we sell a bunch on ebay, and the quality is great for a replica), and the doors panels, and some other parts will get freshened up.
After my other project gets finished, awd built 6bolt is the plan for the colt.
I will post a link to my toy, the colt is the DD. The toy is a 2001 Lexus IS300 that is being turned into a race car. And for power, 4g63 hehe.
