I've got an 89 mirage turbo and the diff went out on my yesterday, any advice on what transmission will bolt up in there without a whole lot of modification, doesn't have to be identical I just need to get the car rolling again, its getting the 63t swap done this winter. I've searched and am still confused. Thanks
Josh

Best option is to use a 1g Turbo DSM FWD transmission with the flywheel and clutch for the same car. If your current flywheel and clutch are still good, you can use the 89 Mirage/Colt setup with the 1g trans.

A second option is to use a 1g Turbo DSM AWD transmission. Along with a 1g AWD flywheel and clutch setup, you will need a viscous coupling eliminator and you will have to modify the shifter cable mount on the transmission. I went this route on my old 89 Mirage and liked how it turned out. You will spend more money in this route because of the viscous coupler eliminator and will have to open up the trans case to install it.
