ok this is the break down guys. all 1990 (bastard child dsms) were equipped with a 3 bolt rear end if they were all wheel!!! same as the 91 they came with a 3 bolt rear but a better wiring setup in the engine bay!
in early 1992 the 3 bolt rears were still made and produced hard to find a 92 with the 3-6 combo. 92 was also the only year the lasers were produced in an awd. they switched all headlights to stationary and again changed the wiring in the engine bay. 1993 they switched the motor from a 6 bolt to a 1g 7 bolt (not the same as the 2g 7 bolt) but they all had 4 bolt rears. in 94 they stopped production on the laser.
There is some in-correct info here. 90-91 AWD cars had a 3-bolt rear. No '90 cars were equipped with ABS. In '91 they started using ABS. ABS-equipped cars in '91 did NOT have an LSD rear-end, they used the same rear-end as a GVR4. If the car did not have ABS in '91, then it had an LSD rear just like all the others. ALL 1992 cars had the 4-bolt rear. In 5/92 they switched to the 7-bolt motor. In '93 and '94 they started using the twin-piston larger brakes on AWD models only. No Lasers were ever produced in AWD in 90, 91, or 94.

the laser is the lightest of the dsms but only if it has manuel windows and locks.(not that much lighter though)
the only dsm that didnt come out with the true 210 was the 1g autos due to the fact they had a smaller turbo and smaller injectors plus the gears are setup a little differently then in the m/t.
FWD manual transmission 1g's were rated at 190hp and 203 lb/ft. AWD manual transmission cars were rated at 195hp and 203 lb/ft. Automatic cars were rated at 180hp and 210lb/ft. All 2g's were rated at 210hp and 214 lb/ft.
