You'll have to be careful on Apache 1.3.X which is your version now.
Id also check your persmissions on that box to web folders.

You wouldnt want someone with a bit of Linux skill to do bad stuff.

I just got 2 manuals and wanted to ask if I need to scan them for upload of if its a waste of time. Maybe you all aready have them. Books are from Chrysler Corporation 1133 pages and a lot of time scanning if I needed.

1992 inport service manual colt/summit colt 200 Engine, Chassis & Body Volume 1. 780 pages PN 81-270-2112

Hold off for now, as we have the same info but not quite so elaborate located at the above links. 89 Turbo Mirage link will yield the regular factory manual with electrical section as well. What you have sounds like the full technical and diagnostic manual which is really a good thing for diagnosis. You can diagnose pretty much anything even with a Haynes manual but sometimes a trouble tree format is really nice to have. If you felt like elaborating on more of what is covered in the books, that may help me to be able to compare to what we have here.

Here is something I leaked to the galantv4.org guys first but have since been able to post here too.

JDM, EURO, and US CAPS!

Here are some links to PDF format Mitsubishi Manuals for just anything Mitsubishi worldwide, as well as links to the best parts lookup programs Mitsubishi has to offer (they did have it made for them!) JDM, EURO and US CAPS.

There is no need to make CD's for the CAPS programs as it may be stated in the translations I had to make from Russian to English. The JDM/EURO/US Caps main site is offshore in Russia, so it may not read all that well translated. You guys will get the jist of what is there, and for installation it is no more complicated than unzipping a compressed file set.

Mitsubishi manuals are mixed in with some CSM material I had catalogued for the past 3 or so years, so if that peaks your interest its there for the viewing!

click <- www(dot)lilevo(dot)com(slash)mirage

Go deeper one further directory, and you will get a ton of Mitsu PDF's for things like transmissions, engine families, carburetor's, etc.

click <- www(dot)lilevo(dot)com(slash)mirage(slash)Manuals

Now for the big stuff that will need alot of space on the old hard drive (for those that are hard drive storage impaired), this is the link below to the site with hyperlinks for direct download of JDM, EURO, and US Computer Automated Parts Search (CAPS) programs.

click <-- This is the link direct to DSM-club.org:80 in Russia

Here is what you will find at the site but translated for ease of use.
Quote:
click <- This is the site I compiled most of the Mitsu manuals from, and are generally for vehicles released by Mitsu in the overseas markets.

click <- Stealth316(dot)com direct link to Win CAPS US version.

Make sure you have enough space to make these work, and remember that you do not have to burn them to CD!

I'll translate what I've found at the CAPS link above from Russian to English:
Quote:
Oh, here's the Euro Caps part translated at click :

Here is the technical help area that the Russian's use to help you install the files:

http://66.196.80.202/babelfish/translat ... ation.html

It may be a good idea to use another translator if this babelfish version is too hard to decipher. :D

Here's the full list of files they have at their doorstep, then you can better translate those pages with an online translator better than babelfish (spelling).

Here is the link to get you to the Mitsubishi ASA forum pages, no direct link as the site admin were asking for. I copy pasted the instructions in a much cleaner translated form, from Team4G.com, so credit for it goes to that guy:
Quote:
Welcome to the new Mitsubishi Aftersales Support Application It's an updated version of CAPS, but more powerful in it's searching capabilities. For example you can see what cars share parts in a single click! No more guess work!

**If you're running VISTA, there's a fix at the bottom for you**

Abiding by www.dsm-club.org 's request, I'll link you to the page and not directly to the file.

Download the Japanese ASA for our car info.

The files you want to download are the ones under:
"Mitsubishi ASA Japan (MMC ASA)

каталог запчастей MMC ASA для всех моделей Митсубиши японского рынка.
MMC ASA catalog of parts for all models of Mitsubishi Japanese market.
Обновляется через интернет.
Updates via the Internet."

The password for the archives is "dsm-club.org" (without quotations)

Installation:

Once you've downloaded and extracted the two ISO files. Just mount them (with Daemon tools) or burn them with Nero or something similar.

Run disc A and choose "Setup". The program will start to install and you will get this first screen:
Image

Choose "English UK", click OK

Next screen:
Image

Check the "HASP HL" box, make sure nothing else is checked.
Click FINISH

Next screen (after the HASP HL drivers are installed):
Image

Choose "Custom Install"

Next screen:
Image

Choose your hard drive to install to, then check "Single User (Full) - Recommended"
Click NEXT

The program will install.

Once this is installed, DO NOT start the program or it will give you an error message.

You need to crack it.

Browse your ASA Jap Disc A and find the "Crack" folder. Copy the file mmData.dll to this folder:
x:\MMC\ASA\M00\PROG\ (where "x" is the drive you installed to)

Then double click and run the MMC.REG file to update your registry.

The program will now work.

It works practically the same as CAPS and it works with Vista after you apply the fix below.

With x64 Vista you will need to change the registry key that is being entered. Just open it up in notepad (right click, open with, choose notepad)

When inside, one line will say [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Licenses\], just change that to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Licenses\] and save it, should work after that.

the program is a 32 bit application, therefore runs in vista 64's 32 bit shell, which is kept separate to all the 64 bit stuff. just like you have a Program Files and a Program Files (x86) folder in x64.

For Vista x32 there would be a similar fix, but I haven't worked it out yet.
