Use this thread to bounce ideas off of each other as far as what you would like to see on a walk-through DVD.

I really can't think of anything since I'm pretty seasoned with Mirages/4G63s and most of it comes naturally. The new guys might have some good ideas about lessons they'd like to see.

I'm just starting to do a 4g63t swap and this would be a great! I would include some wiring harness explaination like what to hook up where and vacuum hose hook ups. I know some guys piece together parts instead of buying a donor car. I bought the wiring harness dvd and it was a big help. Count me in for buying this one

A complete step by step for removal of a 4g61t and complete install of the 4g63t down to the little things like clutch install and getting it running with right ecu and maf.

The point is to show what to look out for, providing clear insight and tricks to get it all singing.

Id even add, some tidbits like why pick the 1G 4g63t over other years.
What are the upgrade paths for adding turbo.
What things to look out with ECU's - cap
DSM link installation
etc.

A COMPLETE guide if you will.

Id certainly buy it in a heart beat.

You should make a DVD that shows how to swap a 4g63t into a colt or mirage (4g15) from start to finish. That would help out alot of people!

That's what my wiring DVD covers. 1.5L to 2.0L wiring swap. Mounts and physical swapping could be covered in a 5 minute DVD :-P

Would the wiring for the 1.3 4g13 be similar to that of the 1.5?

It Should be exactly the same! I don't see why there would be any difference.

1.3L and 1.5L as long as they were both EFI, will be wired the exact same, even the block and most bits are the same. I think the only difference was the block bore and or stroke. Saved you more on gas, but that is not what the DVD will be about. 8)

Pulling out the old 1.5 harness and where things go and what to take out (wire wise). The A/C hookups and what would be needed to get that to work. Some pictures with the plugs and wires with labels and arrows would really help!!!! That way i could bring the laptop out and use it as reference a lot easier. If you do decide to redo your dvd walkthrough let me know i might have some pics for you to use. As your current walkthrough is great, it doesnt come near to answering where most of the wires get hooked up for accesories. Still a great help though.
