The plan now is just to drive it around for the next year or two, then find a low mileage clean colt, does not really matter what model it is and re-shell my colt using the doner car.

I really would like to do the build with a 4g63t and 4wd but finding the parts and a awd lancer c6 is going to be near imposable in the uk so I'm not to sure what's happening engine wise. :-(

Turbo the 1.8! As far as AWD you may be out of luck.

Would be fun but would not know where to start and also where to source the turbo parts I need from?

You would do it the same way I did with my 4g61. To make it even easier you could start with basic stock pieces like a 14b turbo and side mount intercooler. The hardest parts will be dropping the fuel tank to put a bigger fuel pump in, modifying your oil pan for an oil return from the turbo and adding wiring for a turbo MAF and knock sensor. But even given these difficulties swapping on a turbo set-up is very easy.

Are there absolutely no turbo Eclipses, Galants, EVO 1-3s or other Mitsubishis sold in the UK?

Did you do a thread or anything following what you did as that might give me a ideal..... :P

There are no eclipses in the uk really, galant powered 4g63's are rare, Evo 1-3 are about but there still getting good money as they are getting rare, shame later Evo engines will not fit as there are loads about :(
