Hey, newb here. In the process of picking up a '89 Colt GT that's already been 4G63 swapped. Gonna be my daily beater so I can park my Mustang for weekend only use. Will post pics and progress once I pick it up.

I dunno about that. The Colt might end up being quicker, but it'll never be this pretty:

Oh, and my first update... I ordered front and rear upper strut mounts, a fuel filter, fuel cap, A/C receiver/drier and wiper blades today. I need to get a windshield installed too... like the day I get it. I drove it, so I know, in addition to the windshield and upper strut mounts, it needs an o-ring and belt for the A/C, rear trailing arm (axle) bushings, reseal the oil pan and timing covers. It already has a Walbro 255Lph pump, a manual boost controller, Autometer Ultralight boost gauge and an SAFC. Once I finish the maintenance stuff, my plan is to get larger injectors, a front mount and a bigger turbo (thinking Super-16G) since it also has an exhaust leak that's going to require removing the 14b and manifold to replace the gaskets anyways.

On the Colt front... Got it dynoed on E85 with 650's. Only using an SAFC for tuning for now. I plan on getting ECMLink soon. So... here's the magic number... 305 whp. Will post the chart when I get a chance to upload it. Next major mod is gonna be a stage 1 Sheptrans with the Wavetrac diff., then I start shopping for engine internals and a fuel system.

Oh, and I gave the Caliber back to the dealer. They tried to jack up my interest, so I said "no deal". Since I work at Nissan, I bought this instead:
