haaaa, I figured there had to be a couple virgins tucked away.

Mods allowed so long as they are reversible, bonus points if its done in a manner exceeding the typical street colt, meaning build it like its a evo, name brands quality part.

I mostly agree with this, but how do you really know for sure? I'm sure back in the early 80's no one thought the Pontiac GTO rotting away in their backyard would be worth any money, know what I sayin? Granted, with imports it's a totally different ballgame, but how can we predict where the market will be in another 20 years? Maybe Japanese pocket-rockets will be big. Who knows?

In the 80s I knew GTOs were going to be valuable. I think lots of people knew. I knew a guy who had a fully restored 69 Judge back in '85, and there was no question that it was an awesome car.

I would drive the little shitbox, but it would be parked inside all winter for sure.

I guess I didn't expect so many varied responses from my post...or maybe I did. Yes the 89 Plymouth Colt GT Turbo is red. The front bumper is faded a little from sitting in the showroom sun. The battery and fuel pump have been replaced. I have been trying to settle on a price. It seems anywhere from $1 to all the gold in Fort Knox...hey wait a minute, some people think there isn't any gold in Fort Knox. The original MSRP on the car was $12759.00 and the dealer invoice was $11313.24. Now you know why so many Plymouth dealers went under...not much mark up. I would like to get close to that dealer invoice I paid for the car. I hope that is not unrealistic. I will entertain offers. Thanks for all the interest. Oh, yeah, the car is in Southern Illinois, USA.
