Very nice, I only wish I could find one like that within 300 miles of my house. Everything I see on CL is beat or either its at a dealer that wants 2k + for it.

thanks 89mirage and red! I dont think i got too bad of a deal.. lol i paid 1200 for her. totally worth it though! Interior is in decent shape. what can i use to really clean the seats? cuz they be smellin ooooold! haha and i also want to get the carpet out so i can do a cleaning and rit-dying.. any tips on that either? only bad thing is the passenger and driver side door panels. the top portion of the vinyl is cracked to hell!

and the exterior is in surprisingly good condition for being 22years old lol. the paint isnt even faded or oxidized! 8) just the black trim paint around the windows are cracking and chipping off :( so i gotta find a way to pull them off so i can do a repaint. if anyone has any tips on that too, that would be greatly appreciated :prayer:

Easily worth $1200 IMO. For the seats soak them down with some fabric cleaner and let them sit, for stubborn stains I use purple power degreaser. Then I take some Goop hand cleaner and work it in with a small bristle brush, before it dries suck it up with a shop vac. It may take a few tries to get them perfect and it'll take a day or two for them to fully dry out.

The top part of the door panels are separate I believe. Maybe you could remove them and wrap them with some vinyl from a fabric store?

Remove the carpet and pressure wash it or replace it. I know someone makes replacements for our cars.

I wouldn't bother trying to remove the trim because the clips are guaranteed to break. Just mask them and clean them the best you can and hit them with some semi gloss black trim paint.

Great car,

I think you should pay some profecional to do the cleaning of the seats and carpet, i don`t think it would be too expensive.

Someome like this http://www.mrsteamcarwash.ca/index-3.html :finga:

I used this on my car but it never worked well,

Thanks for the input chris and redcolt! I'll definitely give those a try 89. But I know I wanna do all the work myself. Gotta save my cash for parts. Lol.

I just went to the local junk yard and saw a couple of seats I can take. why do junk yards have to charge so much!! I mean theyre all getting scrapped anyway right?

ahh, just came back from the junk yard yet again and scored a "mirage" center tail piece+mitsubishi badges! cant wait to install them

and i also saw some awesome looking driver, passenger and rear seats from a '92 eagle talon. i've heard of other members using them in their cars, but i just want to know if i need custom seat bracket mounts or not, and if i do, how hard are they to make?

I would pass on the dsm seats, the fronts need custom mounts and the rears are nowhere close to fitting.
