So through some convincing Turboshawn and natas have made me regain some focus on my '89 turbo...It will be getting a replacement motor dropped in within a month or so. |

You're a lucky, lucky dude. That is definitely one of the cleanest unmolested GTs I have ever seen. I love black Colts. Something about them gets my blood boiling. Your car is so sexy. I can't wait to see how this car turns out. It would be nice just to see some basic upgrades but still keeping the 61t. They can make some real power. Look up threads by dragstr4g61t and you'll see what I mean. If my memory serves me correct the dude's name is Bobby? and he lives in Colorado. He pushed his 61t into the 10's. Anyway, good luck! |

Thanks....but this car will not be seeing use at the drag strip...its going to be built for the mountains.we got some really great twisty back roads here in San Diego. |

 The 1990 ecu with eprom had external rust on the ecu case  Factory fog switch w/defroster  Poly mounts just have to burn out the original out of the T belt mount  Cleaning off 25 year old grime and oil. I'll post up some of the motor progress when I get to my garage later |
