Hello all,I've posted a little bit here and there, but now I have my new-to-me Colt, and will have plenty of questions!! To start,it's an '89 non-turbo that originally had the 4g15 in it,based on the tag on the firewall. The previous owner's uncle blew up that motor, then put in a 4G61 and harness(turbo,I think). Threw a rod in that then swapped in a '90 4G63t.

As you can tell,it's quite dirty inside and out and I have since cleaned it up a bit. The dash is destroyed, pretty much, and it will probably be hard to find a replacement in that color. The interior kinda looks mismatched,to me. The seats levers and everything are the same color as the dash, while the headliner, seats and shift boot are grey. Under the hood was enough grime for several car lol,and I ran out of shop towels to finish cleaning it up

Plus side is brand new axles, tie rods, ball joints, struts, strut mounts, timing belt, head gasket, rear brakes(maybe just need anti-squeal stuff?)radiator and a few others I'm forgetting. Overall it has a few issues, drivers side fender is messed up,exhaust leak on the downpipe(may be gasket),leaky gas tank, new shocks are coming in the mail(can you say BOUNCE)and the rear driver's side brake is squealing,no side skirts,as well as a newbie learning to drive 5-speed  . I'm looking forward to getting all the basic maintenance done as well as everything above and having some fun with this guy :supz:...and those stickers on the side have to go haha

I love the colt GT decals, its the maroon interior that I could do without :P . Looks like a cool car though, funny how it got all of the turbo bits but came with a 4g15 in it.

Thanks guys! I'm surprised you guys like the stickers,to me they look kinda gaudy, but I see your point on being rare,I have never seen another one like that. I might change my mind on taking them off :) It sucks that I don't have the GT stickers on the hatch, looks like it was replaced with another hatch altogether.

I'm not really happy with the color of the interior either, but I my GSX has the stock red interior, guess I gotta keep the tradition of oddball colors going lol

I didn't think original turbo cars ever came with a red interior.
