Hey my names Brandon and i have a original turbo colt gt. It has a 2.4 block with eagle rods and wiesco pistons, a 2.0 head, and waiting to be installed, fp cam combo with supporting mods and fidanza cam gears. Sc61 740cc's(for now) walbro 255lph act clutch dsm link. etc

im almost 20. i live in Duluth mn and deliver pizzas 40 hours a week. i like to take life day by day and make it fun. i listen to EVERY kind of music out there, but i prefer metal. i like fishing, fourwheeling, shooting guns, and drinkin

i need to replace a few things before i can drive it a bunch but its parked for the winter anyway.

Welcome to the forum! Post up some pics of that car, and make sure you enter the VIN in the registry if it hasn't been done already.

I like the sound of that combo. A 2.4L block and 2.0 head. Did you replace the internals when you swapped to the 2.4 block or did you go with the stock rod/piston combo?

That's the combo that everyone uses when they do 2.4's in a DSM. The only DOHC 2.4 came in the '94 Galant GS and it's super rare. Also, if you were the run the stock 2.4 pistons with a 2.0 head you would get about 11:1 compression or something ridiculous.

DOHC? Says who? Everything I've ever heard states that the G4CS (offered in early Hyundai's) were all SOHC. 4G64's didn't come until later.

DOHC? Says who? Everything I've ever heard states that the G4CS (offered in early Hyundai's) were all SOHC. 4G64's didn't come until later.
