I have been tossing around ideas and what I think I need to get the talon into the 10's That is after I figer out what I am going to do with the car.

Mods
4g63t (rebuilt)
bulleye 60trim
FHR intake mainfold
2g mainfold & tial 38mm wg
dogbox tranny evo 3rd & 4th gear ( same specs as shep stage 4)
act 2600
big tredstone fmic
4 bolt rearend
dsmlink
3" gm maft (blow thro)
bosch 044 fp intank
aeromotovie fpr
plx wideband
I am some other mods but thats all I can think of right now

I need to get some 1600cc injectors. I want to be able to run 10's on e85
What do you guy's think???? any other mods I am leaving out that I might need to upgrade. I know the act 2600 might not be the best clutch for this but my friend rober waldrep went 10.42 in the quarter on the 2600 full face clutch so I know it can be done

That list looks great except for the 60 trim turbo. What is this, 2001? Get a real turbo like a GT35R and ditch the 2g manifold for a tubular equal-length header. From there you have to ask yourself if you can tune and drive a 10-second car.

That car is sick, but definitely not something a typical joe schmoe could pull off in my opinion. The whole lack of an intercooler and running on alcohol thing is pretty unique, not to mention running 30+psi out of the little 16g.

prepare yourself to break random costly things, it's not like fast and the furious, where you can have a 10 second daily driver, unless you invest allot into it. I've never seen a 10 second practical car. Maybe someone out there can school me.

Thats why it already has the built tranny. Yes this very same 60trim is the one that power my friends car to 10.42. His car is on youtube I will send the link once I find it. The 2g mainfold might not be the best but just as long as it can break into the 10's that would be awsome.
The was a 10sec daily driver on the ecmtuning.com geting parted out because the guy had other stuff going on in his life right now. Up intill this year he had ac on it as well ditched it for for weight savings. It is and will not be a everyday driver I am just wanting to break it into the 10's I think the tuning part will be fine. I can handle that. The et is where it will be a little harder for me but I think maybe later this year I can hope to get a 10 second pass. I have to wait and find out what they are going to do with my car today.

Why stop at 10's? Kinda cliche. Go for 9's. Now we are talking. Single freakin digits.

I don't belive I have the kinda money needed right now to lanch the car into the 9's I have a stock rebuilt motor. I think it would give out befor then. I do have all arp hardware in the motor rod bolts main bolt and head studs. I wish i would not have sold the topmount or turbo setup I had last year. I might be able to get a better setup some time this year.

Tyler,
