I personally don't think you should put a JDM bumper on this car. I think you should keep it as original-looking as possible.

Why do you say that? It's not going to require cutting anything up, so it would be revers-able. Now if I put one of those JDM top wings on it, that would require drilling 6 holes... just saying... you know, if I had one laying around :)

I've never seen a 3g that didn't look better with the jdm bumper and like you said you can always toss the old one back on in a few minutes.

Well, I'm not trying to shit in anyone's cereal here, but in my opinion, adding the JDM bumper without any of the other JDM parts to go along with it sort of breaks up the natural, sexy lines of the car. You have the bumper hanging down, and it doesn't line up with the sideskirts or the rear bumper anymore. Kind of gives you a snowplow effect in the front. Yes, it looks good, and yes, you need one to fit a larger intercooler properly, but I guess I'm, a CSM purist when it all comes down to it.

That settles it, now you have to find the rocker covers and door moldings from a jdm hatch too. :P

Then again not all of the cars came with the big side skirts and the front bumper. Most of them had the same side skirts as us.

Yea I never quite understood that, they also look kinda funny without the body cladding on the sides. Were the Cyborgs the only 3rd gens available with the side caps and skirts?

88's had the larger door cladding/skirts, 89's had the slightly smaller door cladding/skirts, 90+ had skirts like ours IIRC. The larger door cladding is rare even in the asiatic territories..
