sweet find man. what did you end up picking it up for?

now I know where the badge on the front of my mirage actually came from, thanks. wonder how it got here, tho...

do you have something you could set in the boot for reference to the height beneath the parcel shelf? maybe a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi or something? I just think it would be a good pic for reference for the archives. I can get one for the FWD folks, but not the factry 4WD ones.

also, are you capable of getting detailed pics of the rear motor mount setup? this may prove very usefull in some of the "yanks" 4WD swaps.
Thanks dude. Ended up getting it for $1600 NZD (approx $1100 USD) which I reckon was quite a good score considering how rare the 4WD hatches are (even over here, i've only ever seen a handful, maybe 4 or 5)

The same 4WD badge also came on E39A VR-4's, so yours might've come off one of them?

Heres a couple of pics of the boot space with a 1.5L bottle.

Which motor mount is it exactly that you want me to take pics of?

Sooo, if you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for the car?
$1600 NZD / $1100 USD 8)

why is that every where else but the us gets tight ass cars..
Hey, you guys get DSM's! We don't, no Talons/Eclipses/Lasers over here :(

Hmmm, well I wouldn't say they're 'common', but they come on all VR-4's as far as I know so maybe if someone is debadging their car they might have one spare.

I'm actually looking for another one in better condition to replace mine, so if I find one, you can have my old one if ya like? :P

Uh oh.

I actually did have one a few months ago that I found on a 4WD Galant at a wreckers. It was mint, but a mate in Aussie wanted it so I sent it to him lol.

I saw an AWD sedan in a junkyard here in Augusta with that same badge on the grille. I was flat broke at the time, and when I came back with some money like 2 weeks later...the car was gone (probably crushed). I dunno where the car came from...probably Canada.
