I just recieved my second speeding ticket. It was for going 115km/h in a 100. Anyways the officer said that I wont be getting any demarit points. So Im curious if I should just pay the ticket and not tell my parents. The only way they would find out is if my insurance goes up. So does anyone know if my insaurnce will go up because of this? Like I said I had a ticket before and it was also no demarit points and insurance did not go up, so Im hoping the same thing will happen again. Help me out please.
Thanks.

Probably not... Insurance usually gives you one Freebie when was your last ticket? It think after 2 or three years they come off your records.

If you don't get any points, I don't think your insurance will find out. Why did you get a ticket for just 15 over, did the cop put it down to that?

I dont know, I was moving with traffic. He asked me why I was speeding and I said that I had just purchased new glasses and it wwas blurry close up. He told me I was going 115 and he gave me a ticket....

Same thing the first time, only I was doing 80 in a 60 in a community zone. I dont know if any of you have travelled to detroit across the bridge; but i was on Huron Church and there were trucks and mini vans going same speed around me and I got pulled over...sucks.

I would fight it, everyone goes 120 on the highway, its like the universal cruising speed.

well heck! normal cruising speed here in northern va is 120, but that's in mph 8) i'd fight it personally, but that's just me. of course last time i tried to fight a ticket, the judge said in these exact words "son, you're lucky i don't give you reckless! now go pay the clerk at the end of the hall. next!" lol

you shouldnt be getting a ticket for 15 over... cops usually dont pay attention till 20 over....

i would fight it... you were going with traffic... i would almost offer the argument that going slower would have impeded traffic, thus upping the road rage factor of everyone that came behind you.

I know what youre saying, but to a judge that argument would mean nothing...I was going 15 over the limit, which means Im guilty. I talked to my old law teacher and he says to just pay it.

just pay it, there are no points with 15km and under, its why the ticket is only 52$. Last time i got one of those, it was less than $50.
