In the pics above, you see the original C53A Canadian gauge faces with 7K redline and 240KMH large font, MPH small inner font.
Guts of the unit are 332,491 km old bits and cluster assembly, from Australia.
IF at a later date, you could swap in the 145 MPH speedometer guts and it should be spot on with proper tire height and transmission gearing.
While you are there you can paint the back of all the needles and try their orientation before putting on the top cover, just leave the cluster open and compare values with a scanner/datalogger.
You do not want to have to take off the cluster surround assembly any more than you have to.
