F5m31 will require another trans mount to work properly.

Stepped mounting bracket.

Edit ==== The F5M31 is the KM210, which needs a turbo colt mount or other (not sure what else had this and was compatible).

Yes, 89Mirageman is correct as this puts you into the territory for a larger flywheel and clutch setup.

Good news is, most people swap out stock type of stuff and sometimes before punishing the car because they know a torquey turbo setup won't be compatible

any longer.

Good price point when that comes about, stock flywheel and clutch.

Also, the starter is different between the F5M21 *4g15 motors* and the 4g6X motors.

So, best to find a decent F5M21 trans IMHO.

Doesn't the F5M31 have the larger bell housing for a stepped flywheel too?

I can deal with the mount. Just want to make sure I can use my clutch, flywheel and axles.

So does anybody have a good F5M21 trans? This shouldn't be so hard to find.

Have a read through here, food for thought. Starter may work, you would be the first to post that I can remember, unless something was posted years ago. Site goes back to 2003, might or might not be listed here.
