Like the title says looking for a good used or new 8v head. Brother-In-Law ran this one for like 3 hours on the highway with barely any fluid in it. Toasted the head. So complete would be nice! Might be traveling all around WI, some upper MI and MN. Let me know what you got! Thanks Guys!!

well I was hoping for around $60-100 for one. I can get one from the junkyard here for an ok price, but I thought I would try to give you guys the money if you had one laying around. Thanks for the offer though, I did notice your thread earlier! I bit steep or me though.

yeah you have some really sweet stuff! Hoping to get enough money saved up for mine to get a few pieces.

Would an 8 valve hyundai head work for you ? I've only ever worked with the 12 valve 4g15 heads, and have successfully swapped the 12valve head onto my hyundai (G4DJ) bottom end (beefier crank and rods than the 4g15) If a 12 valve CSM head fit my Scoupe it would stand to reason an 8 valve Hyundai head could work for you. The distributor comes out the back driverside of head, is perpendicularly gear driven off the cam, and the exhaust ports are siamesed into pairs just like the 4g15 so your manifolds will still work too. From what I know hyundai sourced this engine from mitsu and its supposedly identical to the old 4g15 8valve ( I can't confirm as I have no mitsu 8valves to compare to my hyundais 8v) I have several of these heads and am in Wi if you want to try the G4DJ head. Or try a 90-94 Excel or 91-92 Scoupe at your local yard. Good luck
