So its out with the old,and time to find the new!


First up is a original 89gt motor with 68,000 miles on it. Needs a new head gasket.
Engine includes: original motor mounts ( which needs alittle tlc )
new alternator
new starter
precision 880 injectors ( less then 2000 miles )
1g talon cams


Next is the original trans which includes:
XTD Stage 3: 6 puck clutch
XTD Lightened flywheel (both with less then 2000 miles )
I have 2 differencials, the one in the car is welded, and i have a spare which is not welded.

I have the stock axels, and stock manifold as well:

The price is $1200.00 for the motor and trans, Clutch and flywheel can be sold seperate if needed.

So, with this sale including the mounts and trans, you would need what else to swap into a 1.5L Colt? Harness adapter and that's it?

Damn... Are there any other known issues with the engine, besides the blown HG? Any idea what caused it to blow at 68K miles?

Very. My trans in my 1.5 has tore apart first and second synchros. I'm not having any luck in the yards locally. One CSM in a 60 miles radius of all known junkyards, and it was an auto base. I'm stuck carless at the moment because of it. So, it's either drop ~$1000 on a trans rebuild, or buy this set-up. Only big catch is I have a brand new 1.5 engine. 9200 Miles on it. So I dont want to pull and set that engine aside for one that might blow another HG in a week. Does this engine include a turbo, manifolds, etc? I can swap a new HG on in a few hours, just don't want to spend a week searching for the last needed parts to get it rolling. So far, I think I'll need to also pick up the harness adapter, an ECU for the 4G63, and Then mod the exhaust to connect. I think that's it. Unless, this doesn't include a turbo, or other things like that.

I have an ecu i guess i could throw in with it. Also have a 60-1 turbo, external wastgate with dump tube and custom exhaust flange, plus manifold that i wasnt going to sell but if u want that it is going to be more money. 1500.00 total for everything
