Check the ECU under the right side dash, up above the kick panel. Be sure to disconnect the battery before pulling the connectors from the ECU board, and remove one or two 10 mm head bolts on the ground straps. Pull the ECU down and out, and pop the cover. If it smells "fishy" and or the capacitors are original (post a pic here), you have found the most likely source of no spark from the distributor.
Thanks flyingeagle for the info. Ordered parts and will check ecu and give update on car. It turned over 3 times yesterday but immediately died when gas was applied.
