Well I picked up my fourth CSM yesterday, the car is in worse shape than it looked in the c-list ad. It has 110k on it and the little 1.5 uses a fair amount of oil but runs exceptionally good. The car needs a hood and two front fenders along with a few rust spots on the roof. I was gonna back away but my buddy that came with me reassured me its purely cosmetic. After a good thorough check, the car with the exception of the roof is very clean around the wheel wells and underneath. The interior is pretty rough as well, kind of kicking myself but it looks like I will be going to the yard my old summit is in to get the mint dash and interior bits out of it. Still unsure where the build will go but the very first thing to go is the crappy cable trans set up, can't stand it and I have a full hydro set up and pedals. here is a quick picture of it from yesterday, I'll have more in depth pics of everything in a day or two.

Yes they used ducting tape to cover rust holes. :-?

More work than I initially wanted but my buddy is a body guy and said he could fix everything very easily.

Yes I asked and the "pot" was intentional. Some people :weedman:

The front fender was dented and hitting the door so they decided to take it off the lower bolts to clear. :axe:

I asked if they had hit any wildlife (mainly deer) in it, he replied that they rode a skateboard on it a few times. :(

The dash and bezel are unfortunately cracked. Also this car is originally from Florida so it has AC and no cigarette lighter. Bare bones!

Plans for the next week are to take the interior completely out and figure out what needs to stay and what needs to be replaced. This will make it easier for me to start on the roof as well. I also will be swapping in my tach cluster, intermittent wiper switch, 4g CSM shifter and a 1g DSM steering wheel. As it stands right now I am leaning towards a 4g swap. Does anyone know of a good and reasonable engine importer? Though I have most the parts to assemble an engine, machine shop costs would just take it out of the equation. I want to keep the swap simple and easy and hopefully be able to find a low mileage complete engine.

I always wanted a sedan in that dark blue color. I don't know if that's the same blue, but looks close.
