Haha yes it was I kinda forgot that I hadn't been updating this... after a 10 hour day working out in my garage i'm normally to tired to mess around posting.. :P
Automotion car show in the wisconsin dells is 30 days away.. I plan on having the car completely done by then.

Whats holding me up right now is finding a valve body separator plate.. Dealer is discontinued and no one seems to have a new one.

I'm really starting to loose motivation.......
Probably because i haven't really been able to work on it for the past week.
Waiting on a valve body separator plate from the dealer...
Cant put the engine/trans back in until i have the plate and can do the ipt shift kit

Some really nice inginuity in this... I have a 7" touchscreen sitting around and you gave me some motivation to put it in the dash with a carpc setup...

What are you using for a PC? where did you mount it? trying to get some ideas flowing for my own...

Got the engine harness done.. All tucked and sleeved
Looks pretty damn good in my opinion...
Here's what it's like going into the firewall/back of engine
Don't mind the motor mount I just had to tack it in place so I could weld in the mount when the motor is out
Which will probably be done Monday then I will paint the bay and it will be ready for final assembly
Today I'm doing wiring and making the mounts for my drive shaft

Im un decided on my hx35 weather i want to run it or not.. Kind of want to sell it and make a hybrid 20g
Billet wheel extended tip compressor wheel
3" compressor housing from turbo lab
tdo5 shaft on a tiny 6cm exhaust housing
And have the thing spool like crazy but still make almost 400hp
Im very indecisive on what route to go.. as you can see in this tread alone ive changed my mind 20 times. lol
I have to keep reminding my self i rather autocross the car than drag race it...
At this point i might even convert it back into a street car/daily driver
And put all the interior back in.. not really sure what route i want to go.

Either way heres an update with pics
Image
I painted the bay after pulling the motor for the millionth time :P
Image
On the bright side ive gotten pretty good and pulling the motor/trans in and out. got it down to a science now.
Image
Heres where i had my drive shaft shortened guy did a great job $100 and life time warranty
Image
Finished up the side exit exhaust
Image
Time to re-angle the strut towers i knew it was going to suck.. but inevitably needed to be done i did not want to mess around with spacers/adapters
Image

One side down one to go..
Need to do the last 2 drive shaft mounts yet and finish up the wiring and the car will be done.
Going to pick up some evo 8 seats tomorrow!

UPDATE!!
Sold my hx35 for $450
bought some evo recaro seats and ordered some 5 point cam lock harnesses from summit
Image

And I got the trans cleaned up some filled the converter and put the trans on!
Running dual flexplates with arp bolts.
Waiting on getting a shipment from Buschur for the flexplate/torque converter bolts locker
Image

waiting on till I finish my car to decide on what turbo to run
Till then going to rock my 14b :supz:
Trying to decide on whether to go with like a small 16g or a hybrid td05 20g
i want to autocross the car so the s16g would be perfect but i would also like a decently powerful car ugh the struggle is real

Tentative goal is to have my car done by friday... so I can take it to automotion in the wisconsin dells. as long as nothing stupid comes up and i cant get parts in time it should be a go!
