Well I got the other rotor and brake hardware kit, along with other misc things. Bled the brakes with a handy dandy brake vacuum pump bleeder which took like hour and a half or more I still dont think I got all the air out of the rear but I had some pedal and was egar to drive my baby.

Car drove great and shifted amazing. The steering wheel had some play though, it just wasnt tight. I think my front left wheel bearing is going bad but no noise it just has vertical play when tested. Not sure if my tie rods, ball joints or wheel bearings are bad or all 3.

Also my turn signals were acting funny, like but not really making a conecting behind the steering wheel or something. I would hear the clicking and sometimes it would turn into fast clicking like I have a bulb out but my 4 ways work fine. Very strange.

also my cursed windshield wiper internals keep coming separated which is very frustrating luckily enough my arm is just small enough to mess with it. It has come separated like 4 times. And im not an idiot that has their wipers on full bore when it sprinkling. If you know me im crazy about a few things on cars and door handles and wiper internals are something im mindful of.. but if anyone knows where I can get that plastic insert, im not sure if it has a part number but ill check tomorrow when im fixing it..

Image

Lastly! I snapped a bolt... :ANAL: its one of the two for the lower engine roll stop or mount. The thing where you jack up the front of your car.. yea, pop oops, ratchet with tire iron torque :supz:. So I gotta get that out somehow and get another bolt..

Image

Speaking of bolts when I was at the yard I pulled like 8 fender bolts. I have like 3 that have the heads busted off and probably 3 more will too. But im going to try to easy out them, and then drill with a small drill bit and hope it breaks loose or just drill it completely out but im trying to save the threads even though they could all use a run with a tap. I might try to barrow one. I think the 3g fender bolts ones are steel and 4gs are some alloy of other stuff. But I will still black rustoleom them b4 install

Sounds like you've made a ton of progress and saved another one of these cars from the scrappers. A few more odds and ends and she'll be road worthy again. Props for sticking with it!

Yea its coming along slowly but surely. I don't know what I'm going to do about that bolt, maybe I'll replace the one that's still there with a grade 8 bolt. I'll probably save that broken bolt for te body shop if it doesn't break.

My father and I actually bought this from a repo yard for $600 and the jankyard was its next stop so I did litterally save it from the junkyard. I plan on keeping this car til the day I die. It will never get scraped unless it cannot be clipped. And I want the awd gt that got ride of the month. The awd gt makes me cringe and smile.

Try slowly applying it. The switch gathers dust real easy and it builds and kills them. they can be carefully disassembled and cleaned. I had to do it.

A dirty or bad switch will cause just my front turn signals not to work? I have my rear turn signals but it takes some fiddling. Plus when I use my 4 ways the front turn signals dont work except bumper turn signal.

I do have my passenger bumper turn signal, I think my driver side bumper turn signsl bulb is burned out ill check tomorrow

they kinda worked yesterday but can't get anything from them today. Where do the wires run could I have damaged them drilling and tapping those bolts for the fenders.

Oh, so just the fronts? The wires to them run from the body harness. You can also remove the bulbs and check the sockets for corrosion. these things leak.

Okay I know this will sound noobish but how do I remove my turn signal housing.. There is a spring and what else? Does it require me to remove the battery for and stuff for the passenger side?

Ok, are you talking about the turn signals in the lower bumper up front or the lights in the fender corners beside the headlights?

The turn signals by the headlights are the lights that wont work when I put my turn signals on. I think my driver side bumper turn signal bulb is just plain burned out, but my passenger bumper turn signal works.

Those don't flash with the turn signals, at least I have never seen them flash on 3 different colts. They just light up (both the amber and the clear) with the running and headlights.

AS for removal, just detach the spring and slide them out towards the front of the car.

Yep, they're just parking lights. Once the spring is off just use a plastic trim tool or something to free it from the fender. Sometimes they're in there pretty good.
