Thom, if you could do a small writeup of the Saturn install, I'll add it to the tech archives. it's something I need to do after frying 3 alternators.

Just small updates.

Put on black wheels with better tires
Image

Installed a detachable steering wheel hub for my NRG wheel to get it closer to me since I have my seat in the way-back position (I am 6’8”)
Image
Image

Installed a new Pioneer deck just because
Obtained a set of window vents from Poland that are actually designed for my car
Image

Installed a new Tial Q BOV and a Hyundai VC
Image

Yanked the Maf-T and installed the ECMLink MAF cable for the 3" GM-Maf

Next in line?? Tial Sport externally dumped WG on SBR manifold, subwoofer/amp combo and a separate amp to power the front separates. Then it will be time to build the Summit Wagon!!

Looks great, I always like to see updates on this project. 6'-8" in a 3g hatch, I bet you get some weird looks. :o

Treating her well man, that's good to see. Let me know if you ever decide to sell! I'd love to have her back.

Nah, I have a SBP manifold with Ext. WG flange (and a nice polished heat shield) laying in wait for my lazy butt to install.

But, had a major success last night (I hate rattles immensely). Been searching since November for a rattle in the Colt drivers door. It sounded like it has ball bearings loose everywhere in it. It rattled so bad when shutting the door and while driving that it was embarrassing. I tightened every thing down, adjusted the door striker, all to no avail. Yesterday I decided to try again and I finally found the issue. The crash beam in the door no longer has the expanding glue between it and the outer skin (Same thing that happens to the hood causing it to sag so much when supported by only one prop rod). It is hard to get in there with silicone sealant so I used expanding foam sealant for home windows and cracks. Let it set overnight and now the door is as solid sounding as a colt door can be!!

I spent weeks looking for those rattles! Haha, glad you found them. I threw some dynamat in the doors hoping it would help, but sounds like you got it done.

Yea, it was a real mystery for a while. Couldn't figure out why the pqssenger door shut like a vault and the drivers door sounded like a school book locker. Much happier now. Still have a tiny rattle, but that is because the plastic on the door striker is worn. I will swap it our with the passenger side since that side is rarely used.
