Just picked this up on Friday from jomorris2909. We have come to name her Little-bird. I will be driving it as is for a little until I am ready to turbo swap it. Will try to keep up the build posts.

Weird, didn't know Harvey's car was the same color as Paul's. Should have mentioned you were passing through, we could have met up. :partyman:

My bad, corrected the username to jomorris2909. I looked at the wrong PM when getting the username.

Had to, it is in such good shape. Plans are as follows:

Immediate:
RE-assemble MAF
Install Battery
Get it running
Install new Bearing seals and repack
Install Colt GT axles from Black colt
Rip the Colt GT knuckles and brakes from the Black colt and install with new Rotors
Align it
Fix loose items in drivers door
Swap clusters with black colt, maybe the 4g shifter assembly too
Drive for the winter

Spring:
Remove engine harness and adapter plugs form black colt
Relocate Battery
install LSD in the F5M33
3" exhaust from black Colt
FMIC
v3 link w/SD or v3 MAF cable (undecided)
clean-up engine compartment
install fresh 4g63t with T-28 and the F5M33
Install Expo/Summit Wagon knuckles
Upgrade fuel lines and fuel system for new motor
This colt will stay FWD

Colt will then be sent to a friend here in Indiana so he can re-do the conversion on it.

Got a chance to work form home yesterday thanks to a cold, so I was able to do a few things:

Fabbed up a MAF intake for the 4g15 (came with a MAF, but no intake) from some IC piping and couplers. Just need to bolt in the starter and install a bettery and she will fire up.

Also gave her a bath. Didn't think it could get even more yellow, I was wrong:

Got Little-bird to start-up. Tranny didn't have a ground. Much better now. Just waiting on my new tie rod ends, stab links and gvr4 rotors so this can be ready to hit the road!

Went crazy today and hit Pic-a-part and Pull-a-part in 20 degree, snow covered weather today out of boredom. Scored a perfect set of Expo knuckles for little-bird AND a rear package shelf for the Summit wagon!!! Robert (riceless90) scored a brand new 2.0 head too.

Looking good so far! I thought I was dedicated going to the JY this morning in 40 degree weather and a light rain.

These twin-pots are ready to install with the Expo/Summit wagon knuckles and GVR4 rotors. Question is, leave the calipers Silver? Black? Red? or Yellow to match the car?

I say leave them, the yellow will stand out too much with the car being yellow IMO.

Degrease them and paint with high temp clear caliper paint.

Black is best for anything that isn't a Brembo (or the like).

They are already de-greased and painted the silver you see in the pic (just bought them a few weeks ago from this forum). They could use come clear I suppose if I leave them as is.
